Manitowoc Cranes, Port Washington, WI: a large concrete machine base for a Fives/Giddings and Lewis Boring Bar – 40’ x 85’ x 14′ Foundation in an existing Building, Trenches and Multiple Elevations requiring 700 Cubic Yards of Concrete with 36.4 Tons of Reinforcing Steel and 218 individually grouted Anchor Bolts. Due to the proximity to existing building foundations, soil nailing was used to retain the foundations and soil from movement during construction.
