Soil Nailing employed to Stabilize Building Foundations and Minimize Excavation

Special Construction:

Manitowoc Cranes, Port Washington, WI – Project 2

40’ x 85’ x 14′ Foundation in an existing Building, Trenches and Multiple Elevations requiring 700 Cubic Yards of Concrete with 36.4 Tons of Reinforcing Steel and 218 individually grouted Anchor Bolts.

Due to the proximity to existing building foundations, Soil Nailing (Soil Retention) was employed to stabilize Building Foundations and minimize Excavation during construction.
