Violet Inn, Lounge & Spa, Two Rivers, WI
Hamann Construction completed a comprehensive renovation of the 1926 Elks Lodge into the Violet Inn, Lounge & Spa on 16th Street in Two Rivers.
Extensive demolition and structural modifications were needed to bring the building up to code and accommodate the new room layouts. A new roof, windows, insulation, drywall, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler system, and an ADA-compliant elevator was added. On the main floor, the original maple floor was beautifully refinished, 12+ foot ceilings were transformed, and the fireplace was refurbished for a touch of luxury and comfort in the “Nest Lobby” and event space area. Six nature-inspired guest rooms with private bathrooms were added, and a private outdoor terrace was constructed for guests. The building’s exterior was also refreshed with new paint on the front entrance area, and damaged bricks, stone, and mortar were repaired or replaced. The layout was changed in lower-level areas to include spaces for the Inn’s Violet Spa with an infrared sauna and massage treatment rooms, a yoga studio, a vintage Fox Den Lounge and Speakeasy, and a self-service laundry area for guests.
